Sustainable production and entrepreneurship is a challenge. We are therefore working towards our mission in phases by setting achievable goals: to develop and produce high-quality products with zero negative impact on the environment. We are striving for CO2-neutral production by 2040.

The Bekina Roadmap
We are harnessing achievements big and small to continue working towards our sustainable ambitions. We are pursuing an intensive, yet realistic schedule, taking into account the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) defined by the United Nations.
In terms of Scope 1 & 2 of our roadmap (more specifically, the direct and indirect emissions we control in-house), we are working towards the following energy and mobility milestones:
- 2025: -30% CO2
- 2030: -75% CO2
- 2040: -100% CO2
In order to achieve these, we are adopting a zero-waste policy with respect to energy and reducing CO2 emissions from our transport streams.
In terms of everything that falls under Scope 3 (the indirect emissions beyond our direct influence related to mobility, waste and product development), we and our partners are committed to achieving the following milestones:
- 2025: -11% CO2
- 2030: -31% CO2
- 2040: -100% CO2
In order to achieve these, we are focusing on reducing our waste streams by 20% and are committed to integrating recycled materials into our new products.

Bekina partners with world-renowned laboratories and research institutes to ensure that our products meet the highest international quality and safety standards. We are affiliated to various sustainable initiatives and have already obtained numerous certificates. All things that we value highly as a sustainable global player.
